justice and temperance are my 2 main resolutions, because my tenacious behavior of being rude to people and drinking and eating more then i should is my main justification of why i choose both of these two.

The virtues I have chosen Justice for my New Years Resolutions because I have a bad habit of buying pointless stuff that I just end up throwing away when i could be using it for stuff that I will actually need and use that way I wont complain about not having it and still be able to save money. My other resolution is Justice, I have chosen this because I know that I am rude to certain people and it is not right for me to be hateful towards someone for nothing which is why I want to start being nicer and doing more favors for others than doing most favors for me.

I chose tranquility because I tend to get mad at the littlest situations, I also chose temperance because I eat when I'm not hungry. The one that I need the most work on is tranquility, I struggle with this because I let people or bad situations get to me when I shouldn't,Temperance is a bit easier because I can control myself more than what I can when i get upset about something.

I chose tranquility and temperance as my personal virtue words because those are two weaknesses that i have, eating to much and getting mad easily. I am working really hard on tranquility which means to keep calm and not get mad easily. It's difficult to stay calm and not say anything back because i have a short tempered anger issue that i can't control.

The two virtues I chose were order and tranquility. I chose order because I typically tell myself to do something and either forget to do it or I just decide I'm too lazy, and end up not doing it. The big one I really need to work on is tranquility, because I usually get mad or easily annoyed. I think tranquility is going to be a struggle because I have a short temper and let little things get to me.

I chose temperance and resolution because I always eat way to much and I say ill do something but I never do it. I am having a hard time with resolution, ever time I say I will do it I never do, I end up doing something else. I think resolution is harder for me because i get distract really easy and then I don't remember do to the thing I need to do.

I am doing frugality and silence, I picked these two cause they just fall into my everyday life and are the ones that always pop up and weigh me down. And I got to thinking if I don't change these weighs, there gonna turn around and get me back! out of these two I think the one I'm struggling the most with is silence. I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut the majority of the time, and sometimes its not nice stuff that comes out. I say it as it is and half the time I don't care if it hurts you or not, but that's what I wanna change.

I chose my virtues quite reasonably due to what i was good at and bad at. I chose Justice cause I have a bad habit of downing people who down me. No matter how little or big they made me seem inferior which is okay cause its not true. I just love getting payback i guess. The other one i chose is not what other students would have picked but it is Chastity. I chose this cause I apparently have a past with it and it just doesn't need to be used in that way. One of my hardest virtues is Resolution... Mainly cause I had a past with not finishing what i started so it was basically a habit that is hard to get rid of. No matter how simple or complex it is, I will often forget or just not want to finish. I am also working on keeping those promises between people who make them, and going through with what I promise.

I chose Order and Resolution as my two virtues because they are the two things in my life that I struggle with constantly. The virtue that is the hardest for me is Order because I am constantly at a rush or panic in my mind. Even if it doesn’t seem that way on the outside you never truly know what is going through somebodies mind, and in my mind it is a constant mess which tends to make my life out of order and out of place.

My two virtues are Silence and Frugality. I picked Silence because I have a hard time on judging people on how they look, how they act, and how they hold themselves on a daily basis. As soon as I see someone I automatically judge them on their appearance. My second virtue is Frugality I spend way to much money on useless junk that i don't need. It's just a luxury on the items I buy it won't benefit much in the long run. The virtue that is really kicking my butt is Frugality when I have money in my wallet It's just a habit of mine to spend it. I need to change my ways because I never know what problem will come in the future that requires me to spend money. It's a very difficult problem from Silence because it requires me spending my money.

I chose Order and Resolution as my virtues to improve this year. I've fallen out of my habits of being highly organized, and thus I haven't been making lists (Resolution--deciding what must be done, then doing it). I also have not been organizing my desk and my home, so I spend too much time looking for things that aren't where they should be; this can be fixed with Order--designating a place for everything and putting everything in its place.

The virtues I chose were Tranquility and Sincerity because I thought these to virtues were important. I think it’s always important to be truthful and not to get worked up about stuff. I think the harder one will be tranquility, because I sometimes get angry over little things that are unavoidable.

I chose temperance for my virtue, because I always have to take advantage, and use as much or eat as much as I can. If i make something to eat, I will not leave any left overs behind or if I buy a role of tape, I will use it all on one certain thing. Order is my second choice, because I mix things up very easily. I need to keep things organized, and in order to keep from forgetting about them or slacking.

The two virtues I chose tranquility and temperance because I tend to get mad easily, also I eat when I’m not hungry. The one I seem to struggle with is tranquility because I let the little things get to me. I feel like tranquility is more difficult for me only because I get mad easily even if the problem has a solution too it. In addition, temperance I can control, I can eat only when I’m hungry or I can eat when I’m not hungry.

I chose Silence and Resolution as my New Year’s Resolutions because I have a big struggle with the two. The toughest one for me has been resolution because I tend to be very lazy and unproductive. I find it to be more difficult because being productive has always been one of my struggles and one of the things I constantly tell myself I need to work on.

The three virtues I chose to do are, Frugality, Industry, and Sincerity. I chose Frugality because I tend to be frugal here and there, I waste more money than I should on little stuff, and I have nothing to show for most of it. I chose Industry because I’m very bad at procrastinating and am trying to get better with that. I also chose Sincerity because I can be rude to people for me not sugarcoating anything and telling them straight up how it is even how it could be something they don’t want to hear. The hardest one for me at the moment is frugality, I’m getting better but since I’ve been working the money I make is all mine so I buy things I don’t really need, that’s the reason I struggle with that one so much.

The two virtues that I have selected for myself to work on is frugality and silence. The main reason I chose frugality is because I don’t always do good to others or myself. I also chose silence because I always talk about unimportant things, most of the time it’s drama. Silence is defiantly the toughest one for me, I’m always talking in inappropriate times about irrelevant things. I believe that silence is a lot harder than frugality. It is easier to be nice to people in front of their faces than it is behind their backs. I know that a lot of people are guilty of that, it is something everyone does.

Resolution and silence are the two virtues that I have chosen. I chose these two virtues because I need to work on doing what I ought and keeping smart remarks to myself that could hurt others. The virtue that has been the toughest for me to do would have to be resolution. This one is a little more difficult for me because I am a big procrastinator, which means I don’t do what I should be doing until the last minute possible. I am getting better at both and soon it won’t be a big issue.

I chose sincerity because I believe it has helped me control my choice of words and actions towards people. I also chose cleanliness to help me keep my bubble organized and clean. I have naturally always been able to keep up with my area, but when it comes to controlling my words when I am angry it is very challenging. I believe that it is harder to control my words and actions because it doesn’t really affect me, while keeping my space organized has everything to do with me.

I chose silences and frugality because I have a habit of having my own conversations about things that are not important. I have the most trouble with silences because I will find any chance to just open my mouth to talk. When I talk it’s only about unimportant topics, I get off topic really easy and it’s never beneficial to anyone or myself.

My virtues I have chosen are, Temperance and Silence. I chose these two virtues because I needed to learn how to eat but not eat until I'm full. Drink but not drink until I'm drunk. (Even though I don't drink) I chose silence because in a town like ours word gets around fast and its hard not to get into conversations that involve things like that. Silence is probably the hardest one for me because rumors spread and when they get to you, you just go with it and not think about it. It's harder because you automatically have to go tell someone about what you heard or what you saw.

I have chosen silence and sincerity because I have trouble having unnecessary talks with people. I talk to much when it comes to being quite so this is why I chose silence, I love to challenge myself because its new and it helps me.

The virtues I chose were temperance and order. I chose temperance and order because I’ve always had trouble with going out to eat and just being so ravenous and it’s not something that I want so hopefully choosing temperance will help me a bit with that. I also chose order because I tend to be unorganized whenever softball comes around so all of my attention goes to that and the other things I need to do I don’t. Personally, I believe that order is hardest for me. I usually tend to forget where I place my homework, athletic clothes, softball glove, and I usually forget to do my homework so in the morning I’m rushing to do my homework so therefore order is always going to be my foe. By choosing order, I hope to accommodate my life better than I have been doing.

My virtues for this year that I chose are resolution and silence. The one virtue that is happen to be the hardest for me right now is resolution. Resolution is to resolve to perform what you ought, and perform without fail what you resolve. Meaning that do what you are going to do and not procrastinate to later affect you and keep your promises. I have been finding it hard because I am usually leaving things that I have do to for later or say things that I am going to do and not do them. I think that one is harder than the other is because you just had been so used to doing it. That it feels like a normal thing now and that you can just do it.

The virtues I have chosen are tranquility and order. I have chosen these two because I am very bad about keeping things in order and I can get mad at little things that don’t matter the next day. I think these two are important because I can help myself organize and at the same time not be disturbed by the little things.

The virtues I chose were temperance, and silence. The reason I chose temperance is because I tend to eat when i'm already full, and that's not good. Silence was another virtue I had chosen, and I chose it because a lot of people tend to hit a nerve, and I let them get the best of me. Silence is tougher than temperance to me, because when some one upsets me I cant stay silent, and that is something I really need to work on.

The virtues that I chose were resolution and industry. The reason for me choosing these two are because I really have trouble doing everything that I say I am going to do, so that is where resolution comes in to play for me. I chose industry because I don't really use my time wisely and end up forgetting that I could be using my time to do homework or membean. The one that is the toughest for me right now would have to be industry I just can't seem to not waste my time on things that aren't important at the time and tend to loose track of time I needed. The reason I think that industry for me is more difficult than resolution is because I just don't think about how my time should be spent, I just do whatever it is I feel like doing and have no self control over that. It has gotten better as I work on it, but it is a slow process.

I have chosen tranquility as my first virtue, because I tend to overreact over little things. I want to not stress over things that are not going to matter in a few days or even weeks. I want to focus on the most important things. I also chose silence as my second virtue because, I like to say what I am thinking aloud, and some of those things aren’t very nice. Tranquility is the toughest one for me because I do not realize I’m getting mad about something so minor until I am doing it. Silence is different from tranquility because I think before I say now and I ask myself “am I going to benefit anything by saying that?”.

For my virtues, I have chosen tranquility and industry I chose these because I often find myself getting angry at trifles, which would not anger most people. I also find myself wasting time on social media and on my phone in general, which shouldn’t be my priority. Industry is by far the most difficult to overcome it is so easy to lay around and squander time on my phone as if it’s nobody’s business. It has been difficult but it can be done even though it seems almost impossible.

The two virtues I have chosen are Tranquility and Sincerity. Tranquility stood out to me because I have the worst habit of getting mad and the littlest things that are irrelevant. Sincerity has helped me speak innocently and stop being so negative and untruthful all the time. I always tend to let little things bother me and have the tendency to lie to make someone feel better.

My two virtues that I chose to do this year are temperance and sincerity. I choose to do temperance because losing weight was one of my resolutions for this New Year and I thought doing temperance would help me on that. I also chose sincerity because I need to work on being honest I’ve got in a habit of not telling the whole truth that I don’t even notice when I do it. Both temperance and sincerity are tough right now but Temperance is the one that I’m having more trouble on doing. I have more trouble with temperance because I do not notice until I’m full that I already messed up.

The two virtues I chose were Silence and Tranquility. I decided to go for Silence as I have a hard time not watching what I say. Sometimes I think my mouth has a mind of its own, funny isn’t I’m supposed to control my mouth, yet in controls me. Since everything started, one major thing has change and it’s that I have renovated my way of expressing myself. Tranquility for the most part has been in between of easy and hard. I have a tendency of overreacting sometimes, yet other times I don’t, which is why I considered in between. Something I do have noticed is that now I have an easier time keeping it calm than before.

I chose Silence and Order, because I have a hard time keeping silent when someone or something does something unpleasant, and I tend to procrastinate my personal hobbies/duties by not giving them their time during the day, thus making me fall behind on everyday activities. The toughest resolution for me to comply with is Order. Every day I try to take time to do some productive activities, but instead I choose to give all my time to watching videos, play videos games, and lounging around. Soon I find myself wasting all my time with habits instead of hobbies. When falling into the resolution of Silence it becomes relatively easy for me to keep silent, because I discipline myself to think before any words of anger, hatred, or rebuke come out of my mouth. Silence is a lot easier that Order, mainly because I tend to have a connection with people and I take time to understand them as a person, but when I have to give time to my different hobbies, it becomes extremely difficult to discipline myself.

The two personal virtues that I had chose for my new year resolution were tranquility and justice because those are the main things i struggle with Tranquility means to not let things get to you and i get mad for everything big or small, no matter the situation. Justice is when you're mean, I chose justice because I have a habit of being mean to people who are mean to me and it's not right for me to be mean to them back I do understand that I need to be the bigger person and ignore it, its just hard sometimes so that is why im trying hard for these two virtues

I chose silence and resolution as my virtues for this year. The more difficult one for me is the silence due to me saying whatever is on mind. I need to work on this virtue because I am able to hurt peoples feelings and friendships. Doing this virtue will help me in the long run later in life.

In class, we have been going over Franklins thirteen virtues. Each of us in class was to pick two of them, adopt them as our own to follow, and live by for the next few weeks. The two I picked were frugality and resolution. Frugality, in Franklin's words, is to “Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself. Waste nothing.” Meaning not to squander money but to save it. Only spend it if it is necessary to the situation at hand. Then resolution, “Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail what you resolve.” In basic terms, do what you said you were going to do without backing out or forgetting. I chose frugality I have a spending issue, I always want art supplies or new clothes. I chose resolution as my second one because I say I’m going to things and I either forget or don’t do them. The toughest one for me is resolution. I’m always busy and there are little things I forget to do, such as putting away my straightener after I’ve used it or following my diet. I plan to change these things by sticking to them and not messing up. It’ll take time, but I’ll get there.

I chose temperance, and tranquility, because I always think that i need to eat all the time, as for temperance i get annoyed at every little trifle. Tranquility is the one that is the most toughest for me because, I get mad easily. It's more difficult than temperance because, I can control when i want to eat, and tranquility is hard to control when you have a short temper.

Order and silence is my two main two resolutions, because I need to work on not talking when I am supposed to be listening. My mouth is always getting me into trouble; I don’t care if what I said hurt you I just said it anyways, but as my New Year resolution I want to fix that. Order is my second, I am a very messy unorganized person can’t keep up with anything. I believe that these two are the toughest problem I face every day especially in my schoolwork.

We have been going over Benjamin Franklin’s self-improvement charts and so I decided to do one of them for myself. And my first one is over order because of the fact that I’m not real good about doing stuff when I need to or having stuff so I’ve been recording the things that I need to get in order . And my other one is moderation just to try and stay healthy and out of extreme conditions. And I really need to practices this one because I seem to do some stuff that could get you hurt if you’re no careful.

The two virtues I have chosen are order and industry. I have quite failed on Order in the past days and I encouraged myself to reestablish physically and mentally on keeping things straight. I desire to perform a better job in keeping things arranged in order to have success. Keeping order is important especially if you necessitate these objects on a daily purpose. A good example is homework or notes you take at school; the best act to do is keep everything in a binder. My second virtue is Industry. I have set a goal to use my time wisely that will help me be on task all the time. Time is very valuable when you are in school, so we must take advantage.

My 2 resolutions are temperance and industry. I chose industry because most of the time i procrastinate while I can be doing things that need to be done and temperance because sometimes I cannot control my temper on certain things when I know I can work on that

one of the most difficult virtues that i'm working on is order witch meant that i had to be more organized witch i'm not to save my life. i'm also never in time and i always forget where i put stuff. for the next couple of weeks i am going to work on this virtue the most because i always mess up on it the most the other virtue i have is humility witch says i have to imitate Jesus. i don't really have trouble with this but i struggle with it when i'm out with friends. but for the next couple of weeks i'm going to work on it as much as i can. hopefully i can fix these virtues this year

One of my all-time favorites has to be Ranger’s Trail by Elmer Kelton I don’t exactly know why I loved it so much. The first time I read it was in 3rd or 4th grade and I have checked it out a number of times throughout the years it is somewhat similar to Josie wales in the fact that their wife was killed and now they are hell bent on revenge. I remember when I finished it was the longest book I had read at that point in my life and I was proud of the fact that I had finished it. If I had a say in what my children were to read I would like them to read similar books by Elmer Kelton maybe hank the cow dog at a younger age but when I was young, all I liked to read were westerns.
